Habitat Volunteers Lift People Up!
Edisto Habitat for Humanity has numerous ways you can help serve our community and help those achieve homeownership through our affordable housing program.
All volunteers must complete and return a volunteer waiver in order to participate as a volunteer. Click below to download the volunteer waiver to complete and bring with you to your volunteer shift.

Construction Volunteer - Help Us Build!
- No construction experience is needed; skilled supervision is provided.
- All volunteers must provide an adult waiver form (if 18 or older) or a minor waiver form (with guardian’s signature, if 16-17 years old).
- On your volunteer day, be sure to arrive at registration on time - early if possible.
- Volunteers should wear pants - something that will be okay if paint gets on them. We suggest denim or something similar. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes.
Homestore Volunteer
Our volunteers play a direct role in creating a positive experience for our customers, the community, and help make The Homestore successful. Our volunteers donate hundreds of hours every month by working either half or full day shifts.
Edisto Habitat Homestore Volunteers help:
The profits from the sale of items sold in Edisto Habitat for Humanity's Homestore go directly back into the organization's homeownership program to build homes for families in need of safe, decent and affordable housing. And, not only are you helping Habitat with our mission, you will also form friendships with our existing volunteers.
Edisto Habitat Homestore Volunteers help:
- Staff the sales floor
- Price donated items
