Together, we are transforming lives.

There are so many ways to get involved with
Edisto Habitat for Humanity!

VOLUNTEER

Construction Volunteer Opportunities:
Whether you want to volunteer as an individual or as group to help with construction, please contact us at 803-536-2300 or email
[email protected]. Edisto Habitat for Humanity depends on volunteer construction labor to make the dream of owning a home come true for our partner families. Edisto Habitat for Humanity has been blessed with over a million volunteer construction hours donated to help us build!

Volunteer at The Homestore:

The Homestore's mission is to generate income and invest this back into Edisto Habitat for Humanity's goal: to make sure everyone has a safe place to live and succeed through shelter.

Volunteers in The Homestore help staff the sales floor, price donated items, and assist our pick-up crew. Volunteers can work full or half-day shifts based on what works best for your schedule. Email us at [email protected] to sign up as a volunteer or any questions you may have.

DONATE

No family should have to choose between having a decent roof over their heads and putting food on the table, or having air conditioning in the summer or adequate plumbing facilities. But as we all know, reality does not always respect what “should be.” There is a nationwide crisis in affordable housing, and Orangeburg County is not immune. Your dollars are critical to continue our positive impact in our community.

SPONSOR

Financial sponsorships are critically important to helping more families find strength, stability and self-reliance. Sponsor organizations work side by side with partner families realizing the dream of homeownership.

Help fund our mission as a full or half home sponsor or support one of our annual events. Corporate sponsors can receive special priority when scheduling Team Build opportunities. Our Premier Home Sponsors receive recognition on all marketing materials and public relations efforts.

Contact our Executive Director Jessica Burgoyne at 803-536-2300 or email [email protected].

Habitat for Humanity International
Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in over 1,000 communities throughout the U.S. and in over 70 countries.  In that time, more than 22 million people worldwide have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
