The Homestore

The Homestore's mission is to generate income and invest this back into Edisto Habitat for Humanity's goal of making sure everyone has a safe place to live and succeed through shelter.

Shopping at The Homestore is different from a shopping experience anywhere else. The Homestore is not just a resale store, it's a treasure trove of items. We have a wide selection of home improvement items, home goods, and more, that change often, ensuring there's always something new to discover.
At the Homestore, we believe that great prices should never compromise quality. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by our affordable range, which includes everything from building materials to appliances and furniture.

Remember, all donations are not just appreciated - they're also tax-deductible!

The Homestore also provides workplace skills and jobs for our community. We work with partner organizations like Goodwill and Jobs Corp to offer employment opportunities to their clients.

The Homestore accepts and resells donated new and gently used home improvement items, furniture, appliances, and building materials. The store promotes our green reuse and recycling initiatives and provides the community with access to quality, affordable goods. The proceeds generated from Edisto Habitat's Homestore sales directly contribute to funding Edisto Habitat for Humanity's initiatives, particularly in the realm of affordable housing.

Habitat for Humanity International
Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in over 1,000 communities throughout the U.S. and in over 70 countries.  In that time, more than 22 million people worldwide have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
