Events

Join us for one of our annual events!

Spaghetti Fundraiser & Bake Sale

Habitat volunteers gather to cook more than 250 pounds of noodles each year for our annual Spaghetti Fundraiser & Bake Sale. Participants enjoy a hot spaghetti meal, including salad and bread. The fundraiser includes a raffle and a delicious bake sale contributed by our volunteers.

Annual Faith Build

Every home is a journey of faith, and the Thomas family received the keys to the family's new home just in time for the holidays. The Faith Build-sponsored home brought together more than 27 local churches, faith-based communities, local businesses, and individuals to make Brooke’s dream of homeownership a reality.

The Dedication Ceremony featured incredible speakers who blessed this home and discussed Edisto Habitat's work in the community. Al Jenkins, Regional Director of the Office of U.S. Senator Tim Scott, spoke in support of the need for affordable housing. Brenda Austin from CPM Federal Credit Union, our Financial Stability Partner, shared her experience working with Edisto Habitat for Humanity and the importance of financial education for homeowners and the community.

We thank every volunteer and supporter for your time, talent, and love.

Annual Women Build

Edisto Habitat’s Women Build event brings volunteers from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities. Poor living conditions are most likely to affect women and children, and these events provide an opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities. Women Build not only helps provide affordable homeownership opportunities, but it also shines a light on equity and empowers females to make a positive impact in their communities.

Women Build is also a terrific way to involve your friends and family of all ages in crucial work with a lasting impact. You can
also come alone and make new friends; the atmosphere is collaborative and friendly!

Habitat for Humanity International
Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in over 1,000 communities throughout the U.S. and in over 70 countries.  In that time, more than 22 million people worldwide have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
