100th Home Block

Celebrating a Monumental Milestone

We’re thrilled to share that in January 2026, we’ll break ground on our 100th Home Block, a significant milestone in our mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

Located near the Orangeburg Fairgrounds, this extraordinary build represents not only new opportunities for a future homeowner, but also a tribute to the lives transformed through the combined efforts of our community and Edisto Habitat for Humanity.

The groundbreaking of our 100th Edisto Habitat for Humanity home will mark the beginning of the 100th Home Block project. It's humbling to know that we will soon be able to say we have provided the foundation of success to 100 Orangeburg families. This is a testament to the dedication of our volunteers, generous donors, corporate sponsors, community partners, faith organizations, educational institutions, County and City officials, local businesses, foundations, and every person who has supported the advancement of our mission.

As we prepare to make this dream row of homes, we call to the community to invest in this legacy build.
Whether through a financial gift, sponsorship, in-kind donations, or volunteer support can make a real and lasting difference in Orangeburg.

We offer full and partial home sponsorships and other partnership opportunities to support this build at a level that aligns with your capacity to give. Home sponsors also have the option to make multi-year contributions toward their total sponsorship commitment.

Habitat for Humanity International
Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in over 1,000 communities throughout the U.S. and in over 70 countries.  In that time, more than 22 million people worldwide have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
