100th Home Block

Each home we construct embodies the collective spirit of individuals who believe in the strength of unity. Together, we create spaces where families feel safe, build memories, and begin a journey toward generational stability and wealth.

This fall, Edisto Habitat for Humanity achieves a historic milestone. We will break ground on our 100th Home Block starting with the build of our 100th Habitat home in Orangeburg.

Once complete, the 100th Home Block will include house numbers 100 - 106 and is located near the fairgrounds.
That’s 100 Orangeburg families whose lives have been changed through the stability of homeownership.

Habitat for Humanity International
Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in over 1,000 communities throughout the U.S. and in over 70 countries.  In that time, more than 22 million people worldwide have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
