100th Home Block

Celebrate our 100th Home Building a Monumental Milestone

The groundbreaking of our 100th Edisto Habitat for Humanity home will mark the beginning of the 100th Home Block multi-year construction project, during which Habitat homes 100-106 will be built. During the event we will break ground on Edisto Habitat's 100th home!

Located on Fulton Street, these homes are a testament to our community and the dedication of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, faith community, local government entities, Edisto Habitat's build crew, and Board of Directors, as well as anyone who has helped further our mission to ensure everyone has a safe, healthy, and affordable home. Homeownership is the key to stability, self-reliance, and hope.

Join us for the 100th Home Block Ribbon-Cutting Celebration and Volunteer Day on Saturday, February 21!
9:30 am: Volunteer Check-In
10:00 am: Groundbreaking Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting
909 Fulton Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115

Enjoy free food, including BBQ, prizes, vendors, volunteer activities, and more! Hear from inspiring community leaders and witness the impact Edisto Habitat is making across Orangeburg and the surrounding areas. Volunteer activities and lunch will follow the ceremony (participation optional). All are welcome!

Habitat for Humanity International
Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in over 1,000 communities throughout the U.S. and in over 70 countries.  In that time, more than 22 million people worldwide have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
