Support our 100th Home Block today!
Edisto Habitat for Humanity's 100th Home Block is a milestone for the organization and the community.

Located between Fulton and Whaley Streets by the Orangeburg Fairgrounds, the 100th Home Block will provide a place to call home for six families in need of safe, healthy, and affordable housing in Orangeburg.

To date, the 100th Edisto Habitat home, and the first of the 100th Home Block, has been completed. The next home build is set to begin in September 2026 and will be a Faith Build, bringing together faith-based communities and philanthropic organizations to fund and build what will be Edisto Habitat's 101st home in Orangeburg.

In February 2026, the 100th Home Block groundbreaking was a powerful success, bringing together more than 100 dedicated volunteers and hundreds of supporters and vendors to launch this milestone legacy build.

Their time, energy, and generosity set the foundation for something truly lasting. This moment was a reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together through funding, partnership, and a shared commitment to expand access to affordable housing.

Habitat for Humanity International
Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in over 1,000 communities throughout the U.S. and in over 70 countries.  In that time, more than 22 million people worldwide have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.
